Senate

  • Linda McMahon (R): Peter Lumaj, who rescinded his own campaign for U.S Senate last week, announced his endorsement of Linda McMahon in a video posted on her website. McMahon wrote, “I am so grateful to have the support of Peter Lumaj.” 
  • Chris Murphy (D): On his Twitter, Congressman Chris Murphy posted this update- The Weston DTC - which rarely make endorsements - has joined #TeamMurphy! Thanks for your support! #CTSen.

  • Steve Obsitnik (R): Steve Obsitnik posted this update on his FacebookCongratulations to Chris Meek being named as Second Vice-Chairman At Large to the CT GOP by Chairman Labriola. His talents on so many levels including grassroots organization will serve this state well for a long time to come.” 
  • Jim Himes (D):  Congressman Jim Himes met with students nominated to attend a U.S military service academy in the upcoming academic year. At a dinner at the Westport VFW he said, “I am proud to nominate my district’s best and brightest young men and women to our nation’s service academies each year. “I hosted this dinner to honor their accomplishment and thank them for their commitment to serve our country.” He released a press release with more information on his website as well as photos from the event.
