Did You Have a DMV Road Test Scheduled for Friday? Not Now. [UPDATE]

Because of the expected bad weather, the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles has cancelled all scheduled road tests for Friday at all branch offices statewide.

All DMV road tests are cancelled for today Friday, March 8. The cancellation is due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. Anyone with a scheduled road test can call DMV to choose a new date. The numbers to call are 860-263-5700 if someone is within the Hartford area and toll-free 800-842-8222 for those outside the Hartford area. DMV is also attempting to contact customers with road test appointments to advise them of the schedule change.

The Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles issued the following announcement Thursday afternoon:

[T]he Department of Motor Vehicles for Friday March 8, is cancelling all branch office road tests statewide until 1 p.m., when previously scheduled appointments for that time slot and afterwards will be held.

The cancellation is due to expected inclement weather and poor road conditions. Anyone with a scheduled road test can call DMV to choose a new date.

The numbers to call are 860-263-5700 if someone is within the Hartford area and toll-free 800-842-8222 for those outside the Hartford area.

DMV is also attempting to contact customers with road test appointments to advise them of the schedule change.
