Fire House Construction, Marine Safety Vessel: Issues Facing Town Agencies [Video]

A preview of issues before town government this week.

Public safety projects seem to be the theme of this week's meetings involving the Board of Estimate and Taxation and the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Both agencies meet Tuesday night and First Selectman Peter Tesei discusses the issues facing them: construction of a new Central Fire Station and a King Street fire station; and acceptance of a federal grant to purchase a multi-purpose first-responder boat.

The BET's budget committee meets at 6:30 p.m., and the Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 7 p.m.; both in Town Hall.
