Gov. Dannel Malloy ordered Connecticut state flags lowered to half staff in honor of state Rep. Elaine O'Brien, who died Friday morning from brain cancer. She was 58.
O'Brien was a Suffield resident who
represented her hometown, East Granby and Windsor in the state House of Representatives.
"State of Connecticut flags will remain at half-staff until the day of her interment, which has not yet been determined," the Governor's Office announced Friday.
