Letter: Selectman Marzullo Seeks Voter Support, Ideas to Improve Community

To the Editor:

A little over four years ago, I asked voters to take a chance on a rather unknown face in Greenwich politics. Two terms later, it would be an understatement to say that serving as Selectman has been nothing short of amazing. It has been challenging and it has been rewarding. And I am very thankful to all who have given me this opportunity. Your advice, council and even criticism has made me a better advocate. I look forward to continued, spirited debate on town finances, debt policy, school issues, capital funding requests, and waterway rights.

While Presidential election years garner the most voter participation, local elections provide a unique opportunity for all of us to weigh in on the issues in our backyards. It is important to me to hear from you and to identify the things that we can improve in our own community. Greenwich is a beautiful place to live, work and visit, and I am so thankful for the town employees, residents and volunteers who strive to make it better everyday.

As always, I encourage you to contact me at drewmarzullo@gmail.com with any questions, ideas or concerns, and I look forward to a lively campaign season and thank everyone for their support over the last four years.

Drew Marzullo
Selectman
