Social Security to Suspend Stamford Office Operations on Friday

The office located in Landmark Square in downtown Stamford will close July 19 for about two months.

The Social Security Administration office at 2 Landmark Square in Stamford will close for walk-in service starting Friday, July 19.

Social Security will suspend walk in service to the public for approximately two months to complete office repairs, according to an announcement released by the SSA. Employees who work out of the Stamford office will work in neighboring Social Security field offices located in New Haven, Danbury and Bridgeport to process the Stamford casework.
Members of the public can access the agency website for contact information on these offices. Residents who wish to conduct business with SSA will have several options available to them including
