State Rep. Floren Urges RTM OK of Greenwich Community Garden Plan

To the Editor:

As a “dirt gardener” my entire life and a volunteer with Greenwich Community Gardens for five years, I urge the 230 members of the Representative Town Meeting to approve a lasting legacy for all of Greenwich.

A “yes” vote on October 28th will approve the creation of a community garden on Bible Street which will replicate the organic vegetable, herb and flower gardens currently flourishing at Armstrong Court.

Please endorse the volunteer efforts of residents, senior citizens, garden clubs, students, teachers and local businesses as we continue to grow as a community of gardeners and friends.  Thank you.

Hon. Livvy R. Floren
