Mid-Country Manor Sells for $9.8 million

The top residential home sale in this week's real estate transaction report is 12 Meadowcroft Ln. in the mid-country section of Greenwich.

The 13,000-plus square foot home is described as a "regal Georgian manor" by Zillow.com. The Zillow listing also says the seven-bedroom home has "Glorious interiors feature refined formal rooms, an exceptional kitchen, spa baths, a vast master suite and five star amenities including a billiards room, indoor basketball/squash court, gym and striking wine cellar." The two-acre property also includes an outdoor pool and fireplace.

No word on who the seller or buyer may be as records filed in the Tax Assessor's office indicate the transaction involved a pair of limited liability corporations.
