New Volunteer Orientation/CT State Animal Response Team Region 1

    • Disaster can strike anywhere and anytime!!

      To facilitate a prompt, effective response to any animal emergency in our region the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Management & Homeland Security Region 1 Animal Emergency Planning Team is currently looking to recruit members to volunteer on the Connecticut State Animal Response Team.
      The Connecticut State Animal Response Team (CTSART) program is supported by the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Foundation. Connecticut SART creates a unifying partnership between government, not-for-profit organizations, animal industry, and volunteers. In short, Connecticut SART helps prepare our state for any disaster that involves animals anywhere in Connecticut.

      Members of the CTSART Region 1 will receive training in Community Emergency Response & FEMA required courses.

      Region 1 consists of Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stratford, Stamford, Trumbull, Westport, Weston and Wilton.
