The Class of 2011 received their diplomas on Monday evening.

With a glorious summer sunset as the backdrop, the 610 members of the Class of 2011 received their diplomas on June 20, at commencement exercises held outdoors at Cardinal Stadium.

Friedler, who is retiring after 38 years as a teacher and guidance counselor for the Greenwich Public Schools, offered her speech as her last “letter of recommendation,” this one for the Class of 2011.

Senior Class President Daniel Silkman gave the Senior Address. The valedictorian was Madeline More. Salutatory addresses were offered by Jordana Cepelewicz, Samson Dealy, Laurel Jarombek, Marina Kaneko and Rebecca Schreff.
