Greenwich HS Math Team Wins 5th Consecutive County Title
Congratulations to the 2013-2014 Fairfield County Math League Champions as they head into the state competition.
The Greenwich High School Math Team has won its fifth consecutive Fairfield County Math League Competition.
After competing in five matches this year with teams from throughout Fairfield County, the Greenwich Cardinals led the competition in solving mathematical problems in Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry in Wilton on March 5.
Heading the team are Co-Captains Fiona Young, Elisa Martinez, and Julia Wang, with teammates Michael Kural, Andrew Ma and Steven Ma. The team's advisor is GHS teacher Gordon Jones.
Greenwich High School Math Cardinals will now compete for their sixth straight Connecticut State Math League championship in Hebron on March 31.
