Honoring Achievements of Greenwich Students
The 2013 Boys/Girls State delegates from Greenwich were honored at the Sept. 16 meeting of the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting. The students were Heather Desino, Samantha Salkin (Girls Nation), Alexandra Small (Girls Nation), Anne Walker, Fiona Young (National Merit semi-finalist), Matthew Baptist, Thomas Morrisoe (National Merit semi-finalist), Guillermo Perez, and James Zachary. Salkin and Small also gave a slide presentation on their trip to Washington, DC which culminated with a White House tour and meeting President Obama.
The following students at Trinity College, have received Faculty Honors for the spring 2013 semester:
- Ryan Carr of Cos Cob, of the class of 2014.
- Stephanie McAleer of Greenwich, of the class of 2014.
- Madeline Melly of Greenwich, of the class of 2016.
- Ann Murdock of Greenwich, of the class of 2014.
- Ian Schaeffer of Greenwich, of the class of 2016.
- Blake Tretter of Greenwich, of the class of 2013.
- Harrison Root, of Old Greenwich, graduated from Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance with a major in Exercise Science.
- Michael Watson, of Riverside, graduated from Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications with a major in Cinema & Photography.
- Meghan Dailey, of Old Greenwich, graduated from Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications with a major in Integrated Marketing Communications.
Loyola University Maryland has announced that these residents are members of its spring 2013 Dean's List:
- Erin Calderoni, a member of the class of 2015 from Riverside
- Maria Catenacci, a member of the class of 2014 from Riverside
- Jane D'Agostino, a member of the class of 2013 from Greenwich
- Wyatt Davis, a member of the class of 2016 from Old Greenwich
- Kelly Riley, a member of the class of 2015 from Greenwich
- Katherine Winslow, a member of the class of 2013 from Cos Cob.
- Grace Tormey, a graduate of Greenwich Academy from Greenwich, and a member of the Class of 2016.
- Harry Quinton, a graduate of Brunswick School from Old Greenwich, and a member of the Class of 2016.
