Sue Rogers Joins Greenwich Education Group

Consummate PTA volunteer and former Greenwich Patch Schools correspondent takes on role as CEG's Director of Public Schools Outreach

Sue Moretti Rogers has joined Greenwich Education Group (GEG) as Director of Public Schools Outreach.

According to a CEG press release, Rogers will promote the educational services company within the Greenwich Public Schools community. Victoria Newman, Founder and Executive Director of Greenwich Education Group, cited Rogers' vast network of contacts as well as experience and knowledge of the public school system as factors suiting her to the position.

Rogers has held numerous PTA leadership positions in Greenwich Public Schools. A nine-year member of Greenwich PTA Council, she served as PTA President at Glenville School, a member of the PTA Council Executive Board, and most recently as Greenwich PTA Council President. Additionally, Rogers served on the Board of Directors of the PTA at state level (CT PTSA) and is Vice President of Fundraising on the Western Middle School PTA. She will serve next year as Vice President of Ways and Means on the Greenwich High School PTA Board.

Rogers is the Fundraising Chair for the Greenwich Alliance for Education and is an active member of the Junior League, where she chairs the Greenwich Pool and Byram Park Project. Rogers was awarded the Junior League’s Leadership Excellence Award and Alexandra Compton Award for her community involvement. In November, 2010 she was the recipient of Moffly Media’s Best Friend to Children award.

Rogers attended Gettysburg College and has a BA in English. Prior to joining CEG, Rogers was the education contributor for Greenwich Patch for two years.

Greenwich Education Group offers academic tutoring, standardized test preparation, education consulting, specialized learning services, transition programs and three accredited schools which focus on the special needs of their student populations: Beacon, Pinnacle, and the Spire School.
