Isabel Nixon, of Greenwich, a student at Brunswick School has been selected to represent Connecticut as a National Youth Delegate at the 2013 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University.
Nixon has been awarded the opportunity to join a select group of 250 students from across the country to participate in an intensive week-long study of leadership in environmental science and conservation in June. Nixon was chosen based on academic accomplishments and a demonstrated interest and excellence in leadership in the sciences and conservation studies.

Leigh Galletta, a student at Greenwich High School has been selected to represent Connecticut as a National Youth Correspondent to the 2013 Washington Journalism and Media Conference at George Mason University.
Galletta joins a select group of students from all over the country for an intensive study of journalism and media in July. Galletta was chosen based on academic accomplishments and a demonstrated interest and excellence in journalism and media studies.

Riverside resident Thomas Dougherty, class of 2015, was named to the Wells College Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. He graduated from Greenwich High School—Folsom House, and is a member of the cross-country team at Wells.

Kevin Lane of Greenwich, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Lane is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in accounting.
