New LED lights on the Design Lighting Consortium's Qualified Products List

New Seesmart LED Lights listed on the Design Lighting Consortium DLC Qualified Products List QPL

Many large commercial property owners and managers are quickly discovering that additional savings can be achieved by obtaining the many rebates that are becoming available for reducing your  company's energy consumption.

The problem with most of the rebates for the Tri-State area and many other regions across the United States are the LED products must be approved by the Design Lighting Consortium (DLC) and appear on the Qualified Products List (QPL) in order to obtain a rebate or incentive.

Quality LED lighting products can already provide a significant power reduction as well as as unsurpassed financial savings for a wide variety of businesses. If you have been following commercial lighting news in the Tri-State area you have seen numerous large REIT's, Fortune 500 companies and municipalities take advantage of the key benefits of LED lighting.

Local real estate giants SL Green and RXR and Ashforth have already  implemented LED lighting in dozens of properties in Westchester County and NYC, saving millions while reducing their carbon footprint and moving closer toward sustainability. Cerebral Palsy Association's of New York State and Regis High School are just a couple of the local organizations that have gained significant benefit from the energy efficiency and cost savings of new LED lighting technology.

Until recently leading manufacturers have struggled with the strict guidelines being implemented by the DLC to get approval for the key products commercial businesses need for the majority of the lights in their facility.

Three of the most popular commercial lighting types in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are high bays, troffers and fluorescent tube light replacement or retrofit. These key lighting types can represent a large portion of the existing lights ranging from office, retail and warehouse lighting.

Recently leading manufacturer Seesmart Technologies have received approvals in all three key areas.

  • DLC-Listed High Bays with Aluminum Reflector Cones
  • DLC-Listed Troffer with Ribbed Diffuser Lens
  • DLC-Listed Dual-Tube Retrofit Kit for 2’ x 4’ Luminaires

The addition of these key products to the QPL will allow commercial businesses to take advantage of significant rebates and incentives for a large percentage of the lighting in their infrastructure, further increasing the already exceptional benefits of replacing inefficient traditional lighting with new state-of-the-art LED technology.

I strongly encourage property owners, facility managers and business owners to review the rebates that can be available by implementing DLC approved products into current lighting infrastructure. In many cases the additional savings will be tremendous and can be the additional boost your company needs to combat the poor economy and reduce their organizations bottom line.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
