The Cardinals kept it close early, only trailing 14-10 after the first period. However, the Lions outscored Greenwich 30-20 in a high-scoring second quarter to open a 44-30 lead at the half.

The Lions then poured it on in the second half by scoring 49 points to turn the game into a blowout.
