-- In the 12-year-old Cal Ripken tournament, taking place in New Canaan, Greenwich routed Stratford 13-4 in the loser's bracket final on Tuesday.
Joey Lanni had two home runs and drove in six runs for the Greenwich, which will face Norwalk in the final on Wednesday at Saxe Middle School.

Greenwich needs to win twice to take the title as Norwalk has yet to lose in the tournament. An "if" game would be played on Thursday at Saxe at 5:30 p.m..
