Greenwich United Way Chief Stuart Adelberg Marks 25 Years
At its May meeting, the Greenwich United Way Board recognized Stuart Adelberg for his 25 years at the Greenwich United Way. Over that time, he has held numerous posts, becoming President and CEO in 1999. The organization is the largest non-governmental source of funding for local health and human services, and Stuart has seen it constantly evolve as it responds to changing needs. “The United Way is all about community --people coming together to identify unmet needs and to work collaboratively on solutions that change lives for the better. I think I have the best job in town,” he says.
