Many drivers drive the same day each week and are usually on duty one-half day per week for about 4 1/2 hours. This service does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or during inclement weather.

For people who want to utilize or improve their administrative skills, the chapter is seeking volunteer receptionists to work one or more days a week at the front desk.  Shifts in need of coverage are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays. Volunteer receptionists greet and refer visitors, provide customer service to clients and organizational support to staff, answer and direct incoming calls, provide information about Health & Safety classes, blood drives and other programs, take RSVPs for events and meetings and perform general administrative tasks as needed.
