Free Holiday Gift-Wrapping, Holiday Centerpieces and a Rob Mathes Concert

Here's what's happening in and around Greenwich this week.

Sign up for a class to learn how to create a lasting holiday centerpiece at the Greenwich Garden Education Center. The class is set for Tuesday morning, Dec. 17. 

Temple Sholom is hosting another in its series of Lunch and Learn...Enjoy lunch and study Jewish ethics through the lens of the rabbinic sages with Rabbi Mitchell M. Hurvitz or special guest teacher. A kosher lunch will be served on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

The makers of Excedrin® have teamed up with Walmart, CVS and Walgreens in the New York tri-state area to offer free gift wrapping to people shopping in and around their stores. On Weds., Dec. 18 and Thursday, Dec. 19, the Excedrin gift wrapping truck will be at the Old Greenwich CVS on Sound Beach Avenue, offering holiday shoppers some much needed relief. Stop by to have your presents wrapped for free.

This year marks the 20th annual Rob Mathes Christmas Concert! The Cos Cob musician and composer will perform with special guests, original versions of holiday classics and Mathes favorites that everyone has come to know and love.  Concerts are Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21, 8 p.m., at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College
