From Music to Dinner, There's Plenty to Do in Greenwich This Weekend

There isn't any better way to get pumped up for the holidays than with the music of Greenwich's own Rob Mathes.

The musician extraordinaire is hosting his 20th annual Rob Mathes Christmas Concert this weekend at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. It's not far ... really, Purchase is just a turn off King Street in the western section of Greenwich. (If you're booked for Mathes' weekend concerts on Friday and Saturday, then check the center's calendar for other world-class programs that fit your schedule and sate your inner theatrical and musical desires!)

The Youth Choir and intergenerational Bell Choir of Second Congregational Church will offer family Christmas concert of classics for all ages Saturday, Dec. 21, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. at the church, at 139 E. Putnam Ave. in Greenwich. The 60-voice Youth Choir has sung at The Vatican, Graceland, the Grand Ole Opry, the National Civil Rights Museum and the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The Jewish Network of Young Couples will host their 6th Annual Pan Asian Dinner at a private home on Saturday, De.c 21. It's organized by Temple Sholom.
