The Greenwich Civic Center was acquired by the town in 1966 and serves Old Greenwich and Riverside.

With its large banquet rooms, auditorium and gym, the building is often rented for family and social functions. It also serves as the meeting place for Weight Watchers, Bridges Nursery School, Old Greenwich Art Society Painters and Greenwich Parkinson Support group.

The outside area has two lighted tennis courts, a ballfield and a playground with picnic area. Tomac creek runs behind the playground, and it's a rare day when the fields are dry. Contact director Billie Schock for rental fees and availability.
