YWCA of Greenwich

<p>The YWCA Greenwich was founded in 1919. It is the local chapter of the world's oldest and largest multicultural women's organization, committed to eliminating racism and empowering women.<br /><br />The association provides a number of fitness and health programs for residents of all ages and athletic capabilities. Facilities include a gymnasium, dance studio, pool and water playground, tennis courts and sauna. Post-workout refreshments are available at the Skylight Café. <br /><br />Pre-school programs are offered for little ones, as well as after school and summer camps for older children. Lectures, educational programs and women's services are held at the center's meeting rooms and art gallery. </p> <p>Annual events sponsored by the YWCA include the Spirit of Greenwich Awards, Brava Awards, Jesters Ball Gala, Old Bags Luncheon and the Annual Golf Tournament.</p>
