<p>The nonprofit service organization coordinates a number of programs year-round, including habitat restoration projects, traffic restricted Sundays in winter, scholarships and educational programs and summer concerts. Bird walks take place on the first Sunday of each month from 9am - 11am. Interested participants are asked to meet at the southern food concession. <p>The station began in 2003 with a grant from Cablevision and provides residents with unedited coverage of Town Hall meetings, lectures and special events.</p>
<p>GCTV also produces a number of locally relevant shows, including "A Conversation With," "To Your Health" and "Inside Greenwich Real Estate." <br /><br />The station is run entirely by volunteers and managed by the GCTV Committee as appointed by the Board of Selectmen.<br /><br />A weekly programming schedule is available online, and QuickTime files of recent Town Hall coverage is available for free download.</p>
