Now in its sixth decade, the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra consists of 80 professional musicians conducted by DavidMore Gilbert. Concerts take place in the Dickerman Hollister Auditorium at Greenwich High School. Greenwich High School is the town's only public high school and one of the largest in the state. Over 2,700 studentsMore currently attend the school, which is divided into five houses: Bella, Clark, Folsom, Sheldon and Cantor. In addition to 40 varsity sports, GHS offers a robust drama program as well as many art, music and academic clubs. The school mascot is the Cardinal.

Greenwich Academy is located on North Maple Avenue, outside of downtown Greenwich. It has a large campus on the westMore side of the street, with tree-lined walkways, open green spaces and beautiful, state-of-the-art classrooms. It is a college preparatory school for girls, and consists of three schools for all ages. There is also a pre-K program. Strong academic, arts, and athletic programs make it a highly sought after educational institution.
