Kids in Crisis provides free 24-hour support services to children, teens and adults, helping them cope with parent-childMore issues, communication struggles, peer pressures and other concerns. The organization employs counselors who meet in person for intervention and assistance. It operates two emergency shelters where individuals can receive long-term counseling, therapy, medical care and educational support.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located in Riverside.

Mass is read on Sunday mornings at 8 am and 10am. The 8amMore Holy Eucharist service alternates between Rite I (traditional language) and Rite II (modern language). The 10 am service is always Rite II with music.

Families are invited to gather in the "storytelling tent" at 9:30am before the 10am service. When adults leave for mass, children attend Sunday School or SPARKS.

The adult choir sings every Sunday at 10 a.m. during the months of September to May with some extra services during the Lent and Christmas seasons. Rehearsals are on Sundays, before and after mass. All interested singers (amateur and professional) are encouraged to join.

St. Paul's Day School, sponsored by the church, is a popular pre-school for four and five-year-olds.

The church also coordinates a number of fundraisers to support various local charities, including Neighbor to Neighbor, Greenwich Adult Day Care and Kids in Crisis.

The mission of United Way of Greenwich works to identify and respond to local health and human service needs, andMore raises the necessary funds to meet them through a community wide effort.

In addition to fundraising, the United Way has helped establish a number of Greenwich charities and civic organizations including Family Centers, Greenwich Housing Authority, Kids in Crisis and Abilis (formerly ARC).

United Way sponsors the Community Planning Council, Youth Services Council and the Committee on Late Life Issues, each of which help to identify the needs of all Greenwich residents.

With the help of volunteers, the United Way of Greenwich coordinates a number of annual events, including Vivapop's All American Soap Box Derby,  Oktoberfest and the Annual Sole Sisters Luncheon and Fashion Boutique.
