ReplyAnother benefit? Now I can immediately toss away all those various phone books that get dropped in my driveway. Now those are a waste as so many thousands of people no longer even use paper phone books.

ReplyThis morning at EMS drop off. In the space of 60 seconds: one car cutting off a child in the crosswalk; one car from the left cutting off a moving car on the inside right to get to the turn first; and at least two drivers holding phones and gabbing. At 7:25 in the morning who do you NEED to be talking to? Generally only people you can't talk to at home like your bookie or your dealer. Hey, if you're trying to make the train, leave a few minutes earlier and relax.

Al, nothing happening at the moment as we haven't begun to discuss the station itself. Still working on details for the tracks and the bridges.

While everyone waits like Godot for the return of old fashioned New England charm on the Avenue, can I interest you in taking a look at Old Greenwich this spring? There are several places to kick back and relax while you eat, a couple of new home design shops opening, benches on the sidewalks, and yes, even a farmers market returning for its second year (check www.oldgreenwichfarmersmarket.com to get opening dates). Greenwich Avenue is now "The Avenue," kinda like "The Westchester."
