Artist, writer, fashion textile print designer, and painter of silk.

For the past six years I have enjoyed being the curator for the YWCA's Gertrude G. White Gallery, a special space showcasing local and emerging artists. During my art studies it was my experience as the assistant to the curator of prints, William P. Carl, at Child's Gallery on Newberry Street in Boston, that proved to be one of the best.

As a visual artist one of my most challenging recent experiences was painting handmade wallpaper and silk wall panels for the Four Seasons Hotel in Macau, China, working with Silver Hill Atelier, an international Art production company.

May's Art to the Avenue – beautiful visual Art, musicians and performers in the streets, receptions in almost every shop...what could be more fun? I love participating in this favorite event.

Creative early childhood education, so important during that magical window of opportunity, is a field that I look forward to supporting and continuing to learn about. My early childhood in Japan, Australia, and Kingston, Jamaica is fodder for my work.

I'm so appreciative to have been a  long time member of the amazing Diana Klemin's writers group in Greenwich. I look forward to blogging about the local Arts scene.
