Farming 10 acres along the northern-most end of King Street in Greenwich nearly 60 years, the Augustin family farm is the only surviving produce farm in town. John and Kathy Augustin, point out their family name has no "e" on the end, though the name of the farm does.

Augustine's Farm offers eggs and honey in five different varieties during limited winter hours. By April, Kathy's greenhouse-grown flowers are ready in time for Mother's Day.

Beginning mid-June the farm is open 9:00am to 5:00pm, seven days a week with their own Swiss chard, beets, carrots, bok choi, and garden peas. In June they also sell local strawberries.

As summer heats up, Augustine's becomes a destination for corn, which is known for its great flavor.

The farm is not certified organic, though John and Kathy use no pesticides.

Greenwich-grown and family-owned

Farmer John likes to remind customers that Augustine's Farm is "Greenwich-grown and family-owned."
