Hello, all! My name is Katie Krumeich, I'm twenty-one, Greenwich born and bred, and I attend Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. I'm entering into my junior year, which I'll spend working toward a degree in English.

My dearest dream is to be a novelist. Beyond that, I'm an avid bibliophile who reads everything within arm's reach, a lover of classical jazz, and interested in history of every type. I'm also an amateur collector of antique books, my oldest being from 1901; a Japanese, American, Korean, and Chinese comic books buff; and own assorted historical paraphernalia (including a parasol, Japanese music boxes, and a replication pompeii gladius).

I love to volunteer, and have worked in the past with the organization Best Buddies, befriending people my age with IDDs and helping them with jobs, school, and getting through the day. I've also participated in the Westfield Detention Center Book Group, where I did literacy work with young men and boys in juvenile detainment.
