Sue Rogers

About Sue

Sue Rogers is excited to be on the PATCH team focusing on local school matters as well as local activities for families and kids. As a Greenwich native, she has a deep love for the community.

Sue is a 7 year member of Greenwich PTA Council having served as PTA President at Glenville School, on the PTA Council Executive Board and, most recently, as Greenwich PTA Council President from July 2009 to June 2011. She recently has been named Regional IV Director to the Connecticut State Parent Teacher Student Association (CT PTSA.)

Sue has also been involved locally with a number of organizations including the Greenwich Alliance for Education where she serves as their Fundraising Chair and just began a term on the Pemberwick Glenville Association Board of Directors. In addition, she is the District 9 Leader for the Republican Town Committee.

Most notably, Sue is an 10 year active member of the Junior League of Greenwich currently serving as Community Director. She has been awarded the Junior League’s Leadership Excellence Award and Alexandra Compton Award for her community involvement. In November, 2010 she was the recipient of Moffly Media’s Best Friend to Children award.

Sue attended Gettysburg College and has a B.A. in English. She stays sane by running, spinning and dancing to whatever beat she can. She stays happy by enjoying her boys Matthew (13) and Christian (11.)
