Fairway Market in
Stamford (699 Canal Street) will hold a shopping night to benefit Abilis of
Greenwich on Wednesday, November 20,
2013 from 4 pm to 9 pm. This is the chosen charity of the Cos Cob Fire
Police Patrol, the winners of Fairway’s Firefighters Food Face-Off which took
place on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Fairway will donate 25% of all registered
receipts to Abilis, a non-profit that meets the myriad needs of people with
developmental disabilities - not only in childhood, but throughout their lives.
The Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol team, led by Sebastian Dostmann, beat out rivals
from the neighboring towns of Noroton Heights, Westport and Belltown, in the
annual ‘throw-down.”
