The Rummage Room began in 1964 as an annual rummage sale held at The First Congregational Church of Greenwich. This event became so successful that it was transformed into a business housed in a storefront at 191 Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich and dubbed "the best little shop on town!"
Today, still operated by the Women's Fellowship of the church, The Rummage Room is a great place to find a bargain, donate your new or gently used items and/or make a tax deductible donation. Over the past 35+ years, The Rummage Room has been responsible for contributing over 2 million dollars to local, national and international benevolent organizations focused on women, children and families.
Come by and shop during The Rummage Room's 49th Grand Reopening Sale starting Monday, August 26 at 10 am and continuing all week 10 am to 5 pm M-F and 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday! During the month of August, the store is being cleaned and restocked with all 'new' quality merchandise. Join us for the "Biggest Event of the Year!"
