Bartlomiej (Bart) Franciszek Palosz died suddenly on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. He was 15.

He was born in Kalna, Poland on May 2, 1998, he was the son of Anna Izabela Palosz and Franciszek Palosz.

He moved to Greenwich in 2006, attending New Lebanon Elementary School, Western Junior High School, and Greenwich High School, where he just started his sophomore year. Bart also attended The Polish School in Port Chester, NY and completed his Polish regional exam.

Bart loved the outdoors. He could often be found exploring the wilderness or simply walking his neighborhood enjoying the tranquility while listening to his favorite artists on his iPod. He also enjoyed helping others and was an enthusiastic member of the Troop 9 Greenwich Boy Scouts. He was very interested in technology and politics and was an avid member of the Greenwich High School Video Game Club.

His friends remember Bart as a gentle giant, a friendly, quiet boy with a welcoming face who never had a harsh word for anyone. He was a kind soul, a gifted student, and was always ready and willing to help those in need.

In addition to loving parents, he is survived by his sister Beata Palosz, a freshman at Elizabethtown College.
