Cos Cob Woman Charged with Assault After Roadside Spat with Ex
According to police, an officer on patrol observed a woman walking on Lake Avenue, near Butternut Hollow Road, with a vehicle driving slowly alongside her, at about 9:38 a.m.
Gabrielle Hugutteisha Lemmons, 20, of Rippowam Road was arrested and charged with third degree assault and disorderly conduct Monday after she allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend in the face while he was giving her a ride.
According to police, an officer on patrol observed a woman walking on Lake Avenue, near Butternut Hollow Road, with a vehicle driving slowly alongside her, at about 9:38 a.m. The officer could see that the female was arguing with the male driver of the vehicle.
An investigation revealed that the female had gotten into an argument with her ex-boyfriend while he was giving her a ride. During the argument the female, identified as Lemmons, allegedly struck the ex-boyfriend in the face while he was driving, causing injury.

Police said the ex-boyfriend made several attempts to get Lemmons back into the car, as the roadside argument continued to play out in front of the officer.
Lemmons posted a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

A White Plains NY man was arrested for violation of a protective order shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Police said officers responded to a complaint of a violation of a protective order, stemming from a prior incident, from a female who lives on East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob.
On arrival officers found Peter Moore, 48, inside the victim's house. Police confirmed that the victim has a court-ordered protective order, with a full no contact provision, against Moore.
Moore posted a $1,000 bond and was schedule to appear in court the same day.
