Looking for the 'Eggs-act' Suspects

Three separate egging incidents are reported to Greenwich Police.

 

Sure Easter is almost around the corner, but that doesn't mean pranksters can have an egg toss at the expense of local residents.

Greenwich Police received three separate reports on March 16 from residents of homes targeted by egg-heaving vandals.

According to Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray, the first incident was reported just before 9 a.m. March 16 by a resident in the 700 block of Lake Avenue, in the backcountry section of town. Vandals hit the front door.

Then just before noon on March 16, a resident in the 100 block of Havemeyer Lane in the Old Greenwich neighborhood, reported eggs were thrown against the front door and a porch window.

The third incident, reported by an Ellin Drive resident just after 4 p.m. March 16, involved a second-floor side window was hit by eggs, Gray said. Ellin Drive is in the Pemberwick section on the western side of Greenwich.
