Waldemar San Jose Ordonez, 34, of 95 Westervelt Ave., North Plainfield, NJ, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 4, and charged with three counts of failure to appear, after police learned they had three separate warrants for him under two different names.

Police said a resident of Armstrong Court called on Sunday evening complaining that he wanted an individual removed from his residence. The resident reportedly told police that the subject had a warrant for his arrest.

Police said when officers arrived, the subject, who had already left the residence voluntarily, told them his name was Victor Wallas. The reporting party then informed the officers the man's name was actually Waldemar Ordonez.

Police said they ran both names and found the department had two active warrants for Ordonez for failure to appear, and one active warrant for Victor Wallas, also for failure to appear.

Police said a search of Ordonez's personal property revealed a Costco membership card with the name Victor Wallas on it and a photograph resembling Ordonez. When police asked Ordonez about his other identity, he reportedly them that Victor Wallas was the name he used to avoid deportation.

Ordonez posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 16.
