The weather's taking a decidedly fall feel today and through the rest of the week. It'll be rainy today with the high temps only in the mid-50s. Here's the National Weather Service forecast:
- Today: Rain likely, mainly after 2 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. North wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Tonight: A chance of light rain before 8 pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 37. Northwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Traditional Harvest Supper
Round Hill Community House will celebrate its annual Harvest Supper on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to share in this traditional evening of family fun. In addition to a sumptuous turkey dinner with all the fixings, there will be the work of the artisans from the Round Hill Craft Studio for sale.
Cookbook Author Discussion
Patricia Wells, author of The French Kitchen Cookbook: Recipes and Lessons from Paris and Provence, will speak at 7 p.m., Oct. 23 at Darien Library.
