A Downtown Greenwich Buzz — by Helicopter

There was a little lunchtime entertainment in downtown Greenwich Monday afternoon.

The din of downtown Greenwich during lunchtime was decidedly drowned out by the noise of a low-flying helicopter Monday afternoon.

It all began about 12:15 p.m. as the maroon-colored whirlybird made its way along Greenwich Avenue. Passersby looked skyward for clues of the origin of the helicopter but there weren't the usual television news station logos ... just indecipherable blue letters on the aircraft's tail.

The lunchtime entertainment continued for several moments as the copter continued to circle the downtown area .

Greenwich Police did not immediately return a request for comment.
