Mother Nature smiled brightly on the Greenwich Arts Council's opening night of the 16th Annual Art to the Avenue.
Hundreds people took advantage of the weather to enjoy the walking arts festival that's celebrates the work of local artists whose work in all mediums is on display in local businesses on Greenwich Avenue and most of the sidestreets in the central Greenwich business disrict through May 27. All of the artwork is for sale with 20 percent of the purchase price donated to the arts council.
Many businessss held opening wine and champag e receptions where the artists met with visitors who also were entertained by local musicians including the Greenwich High School Jazz Band and the all-female singing group The Bows.
