Expect I-95 Tree-Trimming to Cause Delays on Saturday

The tree-trimming will require lane closures in both direction of the highway from the state line in Greenwich up to Stamford.

 

A tree trimming operation along Interstate 95 — northbound and southbound — in Greenwich and Stamford is expected to cause delays Saturday, July 27.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, drivers traveling along I-95 will experience lane closures from the New York State line in Greenwich to Exit 6 in Stamford, in both directions. The tree trimming will be around DOT traffic and incident management cameras, according to the DOT.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. The work is scheduled for 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
