Bruce Museum Icon Awards in the Arts

The Bruce Museum will honor those who have demonstrated commitment to the arts on Wednesday April 27, 2011, at the second annual Bruce Museum Icon Awards in the Arts. The Awards are presented to distinguished figures in the art world in six categories. The 2011 Bruce Museum Icon Awards in the Arts’ winners are: Artist - Jeff Koons; Art Historian - Linda Nochlin; International Art Dealer - Larry Gagosian; Art Critic - Robert Hughes; Art Collectors - Jennifer and David Stockman; Patron of the Arts - Susan E. Lynch.

The Bruce Museum’s century-long history of excellence in presentation of art in Greenwich, Connecticut, home to many of the country’s leading collectors and most generous patrons of the arts, positions it as uniquely suited to honor these accomplished individuals.

All winners will be honored in an evening ceremony and cocktail event taking place at a private Greenwich residence. Co-chairs for this year’s event are Michael Grunberg and Susan Mahoney.
