Good Morning,

The weather will remain pleasant in the Tri-State Area during the next couple of days, as high pressure maintains its grip on much of the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic states... Some relatively minor concerns we have involve fog, which could form late tonight or early tomorrow morning, simply because the winds will be so light and the sky should be no more than partly cloudy...

Early today, recent infrared satellite imagery is showing considerable amount of high clouds lingering in the northeastern region... However, as a clearing trend continues to develop across western and central New York, as well as across much of Pennsylvania, we should see a decent amount of sunshine by 8 or 9 a.m. in most places... That should be enough to push temperatures into the lower and middle 50s this afternoon...

Tonight, as we had already mentioned, fog may form late, but most temperatures will be no lower than the 30s in the typically colder spots and the lower 40s in the larger cities...

Thanksgiving Day should offer a decent amount of sunshine, light winds and most afternoon temperatures will be in the mid or upper 50s... Friday should be every bit as mild, if not a bit warmer than tomorrow... Most temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60...

The next cold front that is going to be ushering in some very chilly air across the Great Lakes region on Friday will be reaching the Eastern Seaboard late on Friday night or early Saturday morning... Our 'gut feeling' is that if a shower were to occur near the I-95 corridor, it will probably be late on Friday night or Saturday morning...

But clouds should also break for some sun on Saturday afternoon, and there will be a chilly, gusty wind... Temperatures will be trending lower during the second half of the holiday weekend (you know, what we typically call a "weekend"), and most will be no higher than the 40s on Sunday and Monday...

We could see a couple of showers later on Tuesday or Tuesday night as the next front approaches...

Have a good day!!!

I'm so sorry this happened -- could you tell us what neighborhood you live in so we have a betterRead More idea of what part of town the cat may be in? Also, I'm curious whether animal control questioned your nephew -- there is a link between people who abuse animals and those who later abuse other people (and cats seem to be the 'gateway' to larger mammals). If anyone reading this has any suggestions on how to locate or lure back this kitty, please respond.

I hope you are able to prohibit your nephew from further access to animals. You did not mention hisRead More age, bu poor treatment of animals in youth is often a precursor to similar treatment/crimes against people in later years. I hope you have taken steps to correct this behavior, or have taken it up with his parents, if they are available.
