Incredible 85 Open Houses in Greenwich

The 85 open houses are in Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, central Greenwich, Byram, Glenville, Pemberwick, mid-country and backcountry Greenwich.

This Sunday, Oct. 16, we have almost triple the number of open houses that we had last week. The 85 open houses are in Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, central Greenwich, Byram, Glenville, Pemberwick, mid-country and backcountry Greenwich. Prices range from $325,000 for a condo in Old Greenwich, to $16 million for an estate on North Street in mid-country.You can print out the list and a static map of all the open houses by clicking on the image.

You can see the interactive map of Greenwich open houses here. Just click on the address in the right column and a balloon will pop up with the date, time and price of that house. You can also click on the MLS number in the balloon to go to the details of that property. You can find detailed instructions on how to use the interactive map at GreenwichStreets.com in the left navigation bar.

Market Report -  The market in Greenwich for the first two weeks of October continues to be busy. We had 45 new residential listings through Oct. 14. At the same time we had 53 properties go off the market; 23 single family homes were sold; 12 have executed non-contingent contracts, and 18 have either an accepted offer or a contingent contract awaiting mortgage approval.

However, we also have had 47 listings expire in the first two weeks of October. Clearly buyers continue to be very sensitive to price. Bottom line, well-priced listings will find a buyer, while prices that buyers see as out of line with the market will sit with few showings and even fewer offers.
