So it looks like the infamous J Hotel is finally going to open on the Post Road. While we may never get good answers to burning questions like, “what took so long? “How many different restaurants were rumored to be going in?” And “Why are they leaving that cruddy Howard Johnson’s sign up on I-95?” I for one am happy to see the fences come down and a nice, unpretentious family run business take its place in the community.

The brand new J Hotel, located in Greenwich (off Exit 5, I-95) will be hosting a casting call for Hotel Staff. The Hotel will open its doors this spring under the direction of John Sheedy, Hotel GM, who has worked with Hilton Worldwide, Four Seasons, Westin, and W Hotels. In addition the Hotel will house Eleven14, a seasonal American Restaurant led by Executive Chef Francois Kwaku Dongo, the right hand man of 15 years to Wolfgang Puck at Spago in Beverly Hills, as well as Food and Beverage Director, Alain Michel, who was the past director of Jean Georges in NYC. We will be accepting applicants for the following positions:
· Front Office Supervisors
· Guest Service Assistants
· Front Desk and Concierge
· Engineers
