Charge: Woman Stalked, Shook Down Brian Cashman

A New York City woman has been charged with harassing and trying to shake down Brian Cashman, the Yankees general manager who has a home in Darien.

A New York woman who harassed, stalked and shook down New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman received $6,000 from him before she was arrested Thursday, a prosecutor told a Manhattan judge at her arraignment.

Lawyers for the woman, Louise Neathway, 36, said Cashman, who has a home in Darien, had an "inappropriate relationship" with her, according to an Associated Press report. She was charged with larceny, harassment and stalking, according to the criminal complaint filed with the court.

Neathway has a crimnal history with arrests on similar charges, according to a New York Post article.
