When the New York Auto Show opens tomorrow ......
Bugatti Greenwich, a division of Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, will be exhibiting the rather rare—and expensive—Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. According to Torque News, Bugatti itself passed on the opportunity of bringing the car to New York, the largest auto show in the country based on attendance. According to a press release from the dealership, "High customer demand fuelled the decision to present the Grand Sport at NYIAS this year."

The unique special edition Grand Sport on display, the Blanc Noir, boasts a matte white finish with gloss black accents on the spoiler, intakes, wheels and gas cap, according to Torque.
Bugatti Automobiles is limiting Grand Sport production to 150 custom units that are hand-made at the company’s headquarters in Molsheim, France. If you're wondering, there are 95 still available ... with prices starting at 1.4 million Euros (approximately $1.9 million).

When the roof is closed, the Grand Sport can reach 253 mph, while speeds of up to 223 mph are possible with the roof off. Should it rain, an innovative soft-top roof, like an umbrella, stored in the luggage compartment, can be opened up at any time. With this soft top in place, the car can travel at up to 100 mph.
Bugatti Greenwich also will exhibit the McLaren MP4-12C and the new Virage Volante and Rapide from Aston Martin.
APRIL IS SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and advocacy organizations throughout the country are reaching out to raise awareness and educate their communities about how to prevent and respond to sexual violence. Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services (CONNSACS) is the coalition of Connecticut's nine community-based rape crisis programs, and during the month of April, CONNSACS and its member programs will be hosting and participating in numerous events throughout the state.
"Although we work every month of the year to educate the community and provide comprehensive services to victims, April provides us with a special opportunity to raise awareness," Laura Cordes, Executive Director of CONNSACS, said in a prepared statement. "We hope that people will take time to attend an event during Sexual Assault Awareness Month and take an active role in addressing sexual violence in their communities."
Nearly 20 percent of Connecticut residents have experienced sexual violence during their lifetime, yet feelings of shame, embarrassment, and fear prevent many survivors from reporting their victimization to police or reaching out for assistance. Victims of sexual violence and their loved ones can reach a certified sexual assault victim advocate 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling the statewide sexual assault crisis services hotline at: 888-999-5545 (English) or 888-568-8332 (Spanish).
