More Snow in Greenwich's Weekend Forecast

Chance of snow late Friday continuing through the weekend.

 

A week after more than a foot of snow blanketed Greenwich, the National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting another snowfall Friday night that could last through the weekend.

According to the Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the NWS, a front passing just southeast of Long Island has the potential to bring “significant snowfall, especially to areas near New York City and points east.”

Forecasts issued Friday morning predict there's a chance of rain and snow between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m., then a chance of snow after 3 a.m. Saturday. Cloudy, with a low around 31. On Saturday, there's a 50 percent chance of snow showers through the day and night.
