Letter: Krumeich 'Will Put Public Safety First'

Why is it taking so long to provide fire and ambulance coverage to northwest Greenwich?  Ask Peter Tesei.  The Town bought the land for the new firehouse in 2004.  (GT 6-25-04).  In 2009 the BET held up funding and demanded that Peter Tesei come up with a comprehensive town-wide fire department deployment plan.  (GT 2-25-09).  They are still waiting four years later.  Now we are told the property cannot house the planned fire and EMT contingent and we have to start over (GT 3-20-12).  Let’s start over with a new First Selectman too; Beth Krumeich will put public safety first.  Please join me in voting for Beth Krumeich on November 5.
