Letter: Novakowski Has 'Passion, Experience' To Be Elected Tax Collector

To the editor:

Have you noticed the signs on so many Greenwich residents’ lawns supporting Rick Novakowski?  If you know Rick at all, either personally or through his numerous involvement in town issues, you shouldn’t be surprised.  Rick and his wife Laurie, have built much good will with their Greenwich neighbors for quite some time.  In Rick we are afforded an opportunity to elect a true selfless and inspiring candidate who possesses a rare degree of passion for our town.  He’s had quite a positive impact on our town that could only grow from inside town hall.

Qualifications?  Rick’s lengthy management experience gives him the very skill set sorely needed in the office.  He’s earned accolades from both his employers and those who have had the pleasure of working for Rick.  In addition, he has demonstrated in this campaign the initiative and willingness to be prepared to make a meaningful impact, the day he begins at town hall.

Personality?  Rick is a pleasure to deal with.  Eager to share credit when things go smoothly, and never to point fingers at others when problems arise.  Finding solutions while working with others is his way.  I’m quite sure that if tax collections continue to remain high, as they have for as long as I can remember, Rick will give credit to the good and responsible citizens of Greenwich for paying their bills.

I urge my friends and neighbors to take advantage of the opportunity to elect a truly deserving public servant.  Rick Novakowski for Tax Collector, on November 5th!
